The light, simple format can suit occasional transfers between compatible cars.

Choose it for readiness, not compactness alone. A child must remain upright and keep the belt correctly positioned for the whole journey. Check that the lap belt stays low across the pelvis, the shoulder belt crosses correctly, and the vehicle head restraint gives suitable support.
