Kinderkraft XPEDITION 2 i-Size
From newborn, up to 150 cm (~birth to 12 years).

Pros / Cons
Pros
- Rear-facing use from 40-105 cm and 360° rotation make the early stage practical without turning forward early.
- From 100 cm, booster mode can use ISOFIX plus the vehicle belt or the three-point vehicle belt alone.
Cons
- Both ISOFIX and Top Tether are mandatory from 40-105 cm; without a suitable upper anchor, the harness stage cannot be installed.
- Forward-facing use starts only after both 76 cm and 15 months, and long coverage still depends on correct vehicle fit at every stage.

XPEDITION 2 i-Size makes most sense when one installed seat must cover several stages and 360° rotation will ease daily loading. The strongest configuration is rear-facing from 40-105 cm with the internal harness. ISOFIX and Top Tether are both mandatory in that stage; forward-facing harness use is allowed only from 76-105 cm and after 15 months, so rotation is not permission to turn a baby early.
From 100-150 cm, stow the harness and use the vehicle three-point belt, either with ISOFIX retaining the seat or without ISOFIX. Check that the lap section stays low on the pelvis and the shoulder section follows the guide. Before buying, verify the vehicle’s ISOFIX and Top Tether points, rotation clearance and front-seat space. Loosen Top Tether before rotating, then relock the seat and confirm the indicators before driving.
