The I-GROW suits families who want a rotating seat that can remain rear-facing to 105 cm and later convert to a booster. Check the top-tether anchorage and the room behind the front seat before buying; rotation is useful only if you can reach and adjust the seat correctly in your car.

Three stages, two installation methods

Rear-facing use covers 40-105 cm with the internal harness, ISOFIX and Top Tether. Forward-facing harness use covers 76-105 cm and requires the child to be at least 15 months old as well as 76 cm tall. It uses the same two vehicle anchors; there is no support leg. The newborn insert is used until the child reaches 76 cm.

At 100-150 cm, the seat becomes a forward-facing booster: store the internal harness as instructed and secure the child with the vehicle’s three-point belt. ISOFIX is optional in this mode. Height alone does not show whether a child can keep the belt correctly positioned throughout a journey.

Check the tether before relying on rotation

Follow the tether route in the I-GROW manual, then confirm the rotation lock and anchorage indicators before driving. A side-facing position is for access, not travel. If you need rear-facing use beyond 105 cm, compare a seat with a longer rear-facing limit rather than treating the later booster range as an extension of this mode.
