Lionelo Helmet is a practical everyday option for a child whose head measures within 50-56 cm and who benefits from a full adjustment ring. The ABS outer shell and EPS liner make it a more traditional hard-shell design than a light in-mould cycling helmet, while eleven vents and a chin pad help keep the basic fit comfortable. The drawable finish may make ownership fun, but it should not drive the safety decision.

Expect more weight and bulk than from the lightest in-mould alternatives. Before buying, measure around the widest part of the head and check that this shell shape can sit level, about two fingers above the eyebrows. After adjustment it should not rock, pinch or slide when the child turns their head.
