Choose the Polisport Groovy MIK-HD only when the bicycle already has a true MIK-HD carrier approved for a child seat. A standard MIK rack is not enough. Polisport specifies an ISO 11243:2016 carrier rated to at least 27 kg, and the child must be able to sit independently. The seat’s child limits are 22 kg and 110 cm, with the stated age guidance running from about nine months to six years. Before every ride, check the click-in connection, frame safety strap, harness, footrest position and wheel protection. This model avoids a frame clamp on a compatible bicycle or e-bike, but a missing MIK-HD mark or uncertain rack approval is a stop rather than a fit experiment.
