Moby Classic Wrap is a good fit when the parent job is close front carrying in the newborn and early-baby phase. The long soft fabric lets you shape the carry around the adult and baby instead of relying on a fixed panel, which is why it still makes sense for contact naps, early walks, and calming a small baby.
The tradeoff is that it asks for a routine. You need time to tie it, enough space to keep the fabric controlled, and tolerance for more warmth than a mesh structured carrier. If your day is full of car-seat transfers and quick errands, a buckle carrier will be easier. If you want soft closeness and will practice, Moby is still a useful wrap.
