Kinderkraft 4TRIKE 3-in-1 balance bike

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • The same frame supports three-wheel foot propulsion, a mini balance mode and pedal-tricycle practice, rather than only one learning setup.
  • The folding frame and removable pedals make it easier to pack away between supervised practice sessions.

Cons

  • Rear-wheel position 2 is for storage, not riding; balance mode requires the pedals removed and the metal rear connector fitted.
  • Published saddle-adjustment figures disagree, so the available evidence does not establish one reliable minimum saddle height for checking foot reach.

Kinderkraft 4TRIKE lets a toddler practise foot propulsion on three wheels, a mini balance mode and pedalling without needing three separate frames. The folding aluminium frame and removable pedals help when putting it away between supervised sessions. It is recommended from 12 months, with a maximum child weight of 25 kg.

Changing modes requires an adult to configure the rear wheels correctly. Position 1 brings them together for balance mode; position 3 spreads them for tricycle use. Position 2 is for storage and transport only. For balance mode, remove the pedals and fit the metal rear connector.

Check actual foot reach before buying: the available saddle-adjustment figures do not establish a reliable minimum height. Use it with shoes and a helmet on flat, clear ground, away from traffic, slopes and steps.
