The Thule Chariot Lite suits families who want the Thule multisport idea without climbing all the way up to the richer Cross tier. It makes sense when the lighter overall package, simpler positioning, and trusted Thule build matter more to you than squeezing out the last bit of comfort and adjustability from the pricier models.

That tradeoff needs to be deliberate. Lite is not cheap, and it still gives up some of the richer cabin comfort and tuning that make Cross easier to justify for heavier use. It works best when you specifically want the lighter premium version rather than expecting the fullest Thule comfort package for less money.
