Thule Yepp Nexxt 2 Maxi Frame Mount

Pros / Cons
Pros
- Frame mounting avoids rack dependency while the Nexxt shell adds padding and a magnetic 5-point buckle.
Cons
- It is heavier and more frame-dependent than open front perches, so the tube check is non-negotiable.

Thule Yepp Nexxt 2 Maxi Frame Mount is the rear child seat to compare when you like the Yepp idea but want a more padded, contemporary shell. It keeps the cockpit clear, uses a 5-point harness with magnetic buckle, and is made for everyday rides with a child still inside the Maxi range, up to 22 kg and 110 cm.
The practical tradeoff is that comfort does not remove the frame check. The bracket has to suit the seat-tube area and leave enough space around the rear wheel, fender, and rider’s heels. It is a stronger fit for a clean city or hybrid frame than for compact e-bikes or full-suspension bikes. Choose the rack version if your bike already has a confirmed carrier.
