The Skurb Kid is a useful helmet to try when tied-back hair interferes with a rear adjustment dial. Its opening provides a route for a ponytail or braid; it does not replace choosing the correct size. The green jungle shell pictured here has the rounded Skurb Kid shape and ventilation openings.

Measure the child’s head and try the helmet with their normal riding hairstyle. Adjust it so it sits level, low on the forehead and does not rock when the child moves.
