The Canadian Foundry package, model 01405CGAO, suits families who want direct infant-seat attachment and a reversible stroller seat in one set. The seat converts to carriage mode for early outings, then to seated use once the child can sit unassisted. The eight configurations count orientation and whether the infant seat sits on the frame alone or above the stroller seat; they do not add a second passenger.
The stroller weighs 9.5 kg/21 lb (about 9.5 kg/20.9 lb), with a 106.7 cm/42 in × 59.7 cm/23.5 in × 47 cm/18.5 in folded envelope (106.7 cm/42 in × 59.7 cm/23.5 in × 47 cm/18.5 in). Those are stroller measurements, not the roughly 19.1 kg/42 lb shipping weight of the package. It folds with or without the seat and stands folded, but this remains a full-size chassis. Compare the complete folded envelope with your trunk opening and the space left for bags.
The included Canadian onBoard FLX infant seat is specified for 1.8-15.9 kg/4-35 lb and no more than 32 in (1.8 kg-15.8 kg/4-34.8 lb; 81.3 cm/32 in). These are the exact Foundry package limits, not those of the US Deluxe or a later standalone infant seat. The stroller limit is 50 lb (22.7 kg); seated use also requires the middle of the child’s head to remain at or below the seat top. The Canadian infant-seat base differs from the US adjustable base, so use the supplied Canadian seat’s installation instructions for your vehicle.
For carriage mode, the stroller instructions require fully reclining the backrest, rotating the seat back, releasing the buckle under the footrest and pressing down the foot area to form the enclosure. Tilting an upright seat alone is insufficient. Keep the harness adjusted. When opening, both sides of the frame must click into place; folding uses the two frame-release controls and ends by fastening the storage lock. The reversible seat is useful for changing the view, but the larger fold is the main compromise against a compact stroller.
