A reversible single-child stroller for a child who can sit unaided.

Maxi-Cosi Oxford Stroller

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • The reversible seat lets one child who can sit unaided face the parent or forward; the manual sets a clear one-child, 22.7 kg/50 lb maximum.
  • The seat folds in either facing direction, and the 10 kg/22 lb basket has a separate load limit.

Cons

  • The seat is not recommended for newborns; its manual requires the seated child’s head midpoint to stay at or below the seat top, so some children may outgrow it before 22.7 kg/50 lb.
  • The Mico car seat and Oria carrycot are sold separately; travel-system use requires a compatibility and instruction check.

The Oxford is a full-size, reversible stroller for one child who can sit unaided. The seat turns parent-facing or forward-facing and folds in either direction; four-wheel suspension supports everyday walks. Its trade-off is that the seat is not recommended for newborns. The bilingual model 01227C manual limits one child to 50 lb and requires the midpoint of the seated child’s head to stay at or below the seat top. The basket has its own 10 kg limit.

For travel-system use, Maxi-Cosi lists a Mico car seat or Oria carrycot as separate purchases. Check the exact compatible component and its instructions before relying on that setup. Do not use the stroller seat for a newborn.
