Shortlist the Omni Plus if you want one purchase to cover early car trips and later stroller outings. The included rear-facing LiteMax infant seat (1.4-13.6 kg/3-30 lb) clicks onto the frame, and the lay-flat pramette gives a separate early stroller mode. Evenflo says to stop carriage mode at six months; use the upright toddler seat only when your child can sit upright unassisted. The stroller limit is 22.7 kg/50 lb and 40 in. The tradeoff is bulk: the 10 kg/22 lb chassis folds self-standing, but the folded package stands 115.6 cm/45.5 in tall, so measure your trunk against the 36.8 cm/14.5 in × 63.5 cm/25 in × 115.6 cm/45.5 in folded size before buying. Check the manual for the mode and child you will use, and note the 90-day limited warranty.
