Britax Römer EvolvaFix
From 76 cm, up to 150 cm (~15 months to 12 years).

Pros / Cons
Pros
- The main reason to buy EvolvaFix is the long 76-150 cm span with a proper harness phase first, which makes it a cleaner follow-on seat than a pure booster.
- Britax also gives it a more reassuring everyday feel than many cheaper harness-to-booster seats, so it works well as a long-term main seat once rear-facing is finished.
Cons
- There is no rear-facing stage, so it only makes sense if your child is genuinely past that part of the journey.
- It is a larger longer-term seat rather than a light occasional-use booster, which makes it less attractive for travel or quick swapping between cars.

Britax Römer EvolvaFix is easiest to defend as the seat you buy after the rear-facing years when you still want the structure of a harness before moving to full booster use. That is its real niche. The 76-150 cm span is broad, but the more useful point is that it does not rush families straight from toddler seat into a simple booster.
The tradeoff is built into the concept: this is not a seat for the earliest stages and it only makes sense once rear-facing is over. It is also more of a long-term everyday seat than a lightweight spare. If you want one serious follow-on seat from 15 months onward, it has a clear role.
