H.yeed / Birtech 30.5 cm Pneumatic Balance Bike

Pros / Cons
Pros
- The 33-44 cm saddle range gives 11 cm of height adjustment for a child who fits the minimum setting.
- Pneumatic tyres provide cushioning, and the footrest gives the feet a place during gliding.
Cons
- Air tyres need pressure checks and can puncture.
- A 33 cm minimum saddle can still be too high for a smaller beginner; the age label does not establish fit.

The green H.yeed / Birtech pneumatic model combines a curved, one-piece nylon frame with spoked 30.5 cm wheels and air-filled tyres. A broad footrest sits beneath the saddle for the stage when the child can push, lift the feet and glide. It is a two-wheel balance bike, so the rider must learn sideways balance rather than relying on extra rear wheels.
The selected bike’s saddle adjusts from about 33-44 cm with a quick-release clamp. Check comfortable contact with both feet at the appropriate setting before choosing it: the 33 cm minimum is more useful than a broad preschool age label. The selected size diagram gives a 32 kg rider limit and a bike weight of 2.9 kg.
Air tyres offer cushioning but add routine care. Check pressure and tyre condition, and allow for the possibility of a puncture. Start on clear, level ground with supervision and protective equipment; broad all-road advertising is not a guarantee of grip on every surface.
The Birtech name also appears on a lighter foam-tyred balance bike. That bike’s weight and saddle measurements do not apply to this green pneumatic version. Choose this model for its actual fit, air tyres and coasting footrest, rather than assuming all similarly named H.yeed bikes have the same construction.
