This site keeps privacy handling intentionally simple. We do not currently run analytics, advertising trackers, or user accounts on ChildFriendlyGear itself. We only use a small amount of technical storage and routine server-side processing needed to deliver the site.

What we store on your device

We store one local browser value with the key langRegion. It remembers your selected language and region so you do not have to choose the same site version again on later visits.

This value is used only for locale selection. It is not used to build a profile, measure behavior, or track you across other sites.

Technical logs and delivery

Like any website, requests to ChildFriendlyGear generate technical server and delivery logs. These logs can include data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, date and time, referrer, and basic error data.

We use this processing to deliver the site, keep it secure, diagnose technical problems, and prevent abuse. We do not use these logs for behavioral advertising or user profiling.

ChildFriendlyGear contains affiliate links. If you click a retailer link, the destination site processes your request under its own privacy policy and terms. We may receive a commission if a qualifying purchase happens after that click.

We do not control how external retailers or manufacturers handle personal data once you leave this site.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and remembering the locale you selected for the service you requested.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and complaint to a supervisory authority. You can also remove the langRegion value directly from your browser storage at any time.

Changes

If this site later adds analytics, forms, newsletters, or other data collection, this page should be updated accordingly.
